One of the first final engineering sample of the AMD K7, known under the commercial name of "Athlon". This CPU used the 0.25 µm core and comes with 512 KB of L2 cache (external). This engineering sample use a clock speed of 550 MHz (5.5*100) and the first Athlon was launched with clock speed of 500, 550 and 600 MHZ.
